INT 490: Senior Seminar in International Studies (3): Prerequisite: INT 105; completion of
methods course, and second semester junior or senior standing or consent of instructor.
Advanced interdisciplinary study of topics that address critical developments and debates of
contemporary importance. Production of research or artistic product related to International
Studies area of concentration; oral presentations required.
Description of assignment(s) that involve basic computer skills including knowledge of campus
use policies, facility with standard applications, and awareness of legal and ethical issues:
The prospectus for the research or artistic product will demonstrate significant computer research
and/or analysis.
How will the computer competency be evaluated?
The instructor’s evaluation of the research or artistic product will include an expectation of
computer based research and/or analysis and the grading rubric provided to the students at the
beginning of the course will include the standard for demonstrating computer competency.
*If changes in the catalogue description are indicated, this proposal must first be approved by the
appropriate school or college curriculum committee.
