Securities Issues Statistics
November 2015

Banco de Portugal publishes today, in table A.12 of
the Statistical Bulletin and in BPstat, securities issues data for November 2015.
At the end of November 2015, the outstanding
amount of securities issued by residents was 420.2
billion euros (Chart 1), with the general government
accounting for 151.2 billion of the total outstanding
value (Chart 2).
During November, the resident sector net issues
(gross issues minus redemptions) amounted to 0.7

billion euros (Chart 3), which compares with a
negative figure on the previous month. This evolution was justified, in essence, by an increase on debt
securities net issues from -1.7 billion euros to 0.5
billion euros.
The general government sector had the highest
contribution for the net issues positive value in
November, reaching a value of 1.1 billion euros
(Chart 4).
