Housing
Cost
UNCW students typically live in single rooms in University residences. Meals are
also available in inexpensive student cafeterias. Your floor-mates may be U.K.
students or international students.
Student Life
Social life is an integral part of the Roehampton experience with the university
offering a large number of societies and clubs for students. The larger Roehampton
University campus is divided into four, side-by-side colleges (or mini-campuses);
Digby Stuart, Froebel, Southlands and Whitelands, each with its own housing
and dining facilities. The university’s beautiful and historic campus in southwest
London provides a stimulating environment for students to pursue their studies.
The centre of London, with its exceptional cultural and social facilities, is just a
short journey away.
Surrounding Areas
Located in the southwest corner of London, the university is a convenient starting
point for many excursions. Day trips are available to locations such as Oxford,
Bath and Stratford-Upon-Avon. Longer adventures to Ireland, Scotland and
Wales are also popular among students, as are sites in many parts of continental
Europe which are easily accessible via air, ferry or train.
