No more than six hours may be obtained by means of a German Studies course taught in English. Only three of the hours at the 400-level may be obtained by means of GER 491 or 498. NOTE: To satisfy the Applied Learning Requirement, a student must complete 6 credit hours of study abroad (at the intermediate level or above) or 3 credit hours of internship, directed individual study, practicum, honors, or service learning. A “C-” or better grade is required in each course counted toward the major and a “C” (2.00) or better average for all courses counted toward the major.
