Supplemental Instruction (SI) Leader Application
What SI Supports . . .
The University Learning Center hires undergraduate and graduate students to facilitate peer-to-peer group study sessions for various gatekeeper
courses in BIO, CHM, NSG, ECN, and FIN. These SI sessions occur in various classrooms on campus in addition to University Learning Center’s
Classroom located in DePaolo Hall. To become an SI Leader you must complete both sides of this application and submit it with an unofficial copy
of your transcript. If your skills are needed, you will be contacted for an interview.
Minimum qualifications




Upper-class student (sophomore, junior, senior or graduate student).
3.0 cumulative GPA or higher is mandatory.
Successful completion of the courses you wish to lead SI Sessions, with a grade of A or B
International students must have or be willing to obtain a social security number for employment purposes.
