Our students are the performers and educators of tomorrow. Ensuring their future requires the support of the university, the music faculty and you. Your generosity helps purchase classroom equipment, support scholarships, student

Have a Seat
Beckwith Recital Hall, UNCW Cultural Arts Building
The “Have a Seat” campaign is an excellent opportunity to help the Department of Music establish a talent-based music scholarship, as
well as provide a modest naming opportunity for donors to name a seat in Beckwith Recital Hall. For a gift of $1,000, a seat can be named in
honor or in memory of your naming request, such as a family member, friend, or a favorite professor who made a real difference in your life.
An engraved brass placard is prominently displayed on each seat, and the donor’s name is also displayed on a plaque in the recital hall lobby. Each gift is used to maintain a music scholarship fund to recruit and retain talented students, while helping the department address programmatic needs to maintain a balanced student population for musical endeavors, such as ensembles, chamber music and accompanying.
I encourage you to consider naming a seat in Beckwith Recital Hall. Help us provide financial support for our future students, as well as
