Communications i. Tell It All Tuesday comments from students: Parking lot of the library needs to be paved, need more green trees on campus, need more available spaces in classes, bring back “Wing Wednesday”, should start a hip hop or R&B day, the drag cultural event was offensive, Garnet and Gold Gala was amazing ii. For future Tell It All Tuesdays we will need volunteers outside of the Communications committee to help V. Chair’s Report A. Met with Dr. Mahony: Discussed safety concerns after the robbery that occurred last week, upcoming meeting this Wednesday as well B. Bystander Intervention Program this Wednesday at 7:30pm behind the Margaret Nance Parking Lot—collaborating with Residence Life. Dean Knight will be presenting to discuss being an active bystander. Need volunteers to help with hot chocolate—see Ray after meeting C. Election Commissioner Update: We have one ticket so far, need at least one more. There will be two additional interest meetings this week. Interest meetings will be held this Tuesday and Thursday in the computer lab outside of Ray and Alex’s office in Digs at common time Upcoming: Forum will be March 28 at 7pm Presidential Rally March 30 New President and VP will be announced on April 1, 2016 Encourage great applicants to go to an interest meeting D. Open Floor A. York Co reorganization for the Democratic Party will be March 12 at the Freedom Temple Ministries. This will mean that new precinct leadership will be elected for positions such as treasurer, secretary, chairs, etc. Will also be voting on what delegate to send to the National Convention B. Macy Ruple will be featured in a gallery opening this Wednesday from 6-8pm at Loading Dock Gallery in Old Town Rock Hill C. Welcome our new College of Business Rep LaRaven Temoney D.
