REMINDER: Student Group Funding Proposal Meeting
To: SBA
From: Rosanne Balasabas, Business Manager
Date: September 29, 2015 (for AY 2015-2016)

REMINDER: The Student Group Budget Disbursement Meeting will be held
Tuesday, October 13th at 6:00 p.m. in Room 203.
Agenda:
- Introduction
- Explanation of Budgeting Process
- Open Commentary Period/Discussion/Q and A
- SBA Meeting to Approve Proposed Budget (Student Group Leaders are allowed
and encouraged to remain for the SBA Budget Approval Session)
- Conclusion
The point of the Student Group Budgeting Meeting is to allow student group
leaders the opportunity to comment on the proposed budget. If SBA members are
so moved by a comment to change the proposed allocations, it may affect the
overall budget and distributions, so all group leaders are encouraged to attend.
An SBA meeting will follow the Student Group Budgeting Meeting
in order to approve the final proposed budget. The proposed budget will then be
sent to a vote in front of the student body via the internet from Wednesday to
Friday.
STUDENT GROUP LEADERS: You are not required to attend this meeting; however
if you want to represent your group during the budgeting process, this is the time
to do so. During the budgeting meeting, the SBA Executive Board may make
changes to any of the budget based on the discussion at the meeting. There is no
guarantee that your proposed amount will be approved by the Executive Board.
Below is your individual group’s proposed amount:
