Steven I. Levine is Research Faculty Associate in the
Department of History at the University of Montana. He earned a
Ph.D. from Harvard University and has published extensively in
the fields of modern Chinese politics as well as American-East
Asian relations. His most recent book, co-authored together with
Dr. Alexander V. Pantsov, Mao: The Real Story, has just been
released in paperback by Simon & Schuster.
