Go to www.parchment.com
Click on “Sign In”
Click on “Sign-up”
Click on “I want to request my College Transcript”
Search for Winthrop University
a. Select “South Carolina” for the State/Province
b. Type “Winthrop University” for College/University Name
c. Select Undergraduate and/or Graduate to indicate the type of student by clicking in the appropriate
Boxes
d. Click Search
i. Only Winthrop University should appear in listing
6.) Click on “Begin Registration”
7.) Enter your information for the following areas
a. Personal Information
b. Contact Information
c. Sign In Information
d. Secret Questions
e. Optional Services
8.) Click Save & Continue
9.) Enter the information for the following areas
a. Enrollment Information
b. Degree Information (if applicable)
c. Name When Enrolled
10.) Click Save & Continue
11.) Complete the Student Waiver
12.) Sign Transcript Authorization Form
13.) Click Continue
14.) Accept Parchment User Agreement
**Requesting a Transcript after Account Setup**
15.) Click on “Request Transcript”
i. Winthrop University should appear
1. Click on Request Transcript located below Winthrop University
16.) Click on “Request Transcript”
17.) Select one of the Tabs to indicate where the transcript is to be sent
a. Academic Destinations
i. Select if the transcript is to be sent electronically to another institution
1. YOU MAY WANT TO CONFIRM THAT THE RECEIVING
INSTITUTION IS SET UP AS A PARTNER WITH PARCHMENT PRIOR
TO USING THIS OPTION. FAILURE TO DO SO COULD RESULT IN A
DELAY OF THE TRANSCRIPT BEING SENT.

a. Transcript will be sent to the email address used to establish the Parchment
Account
2. Paper Delivery
a. Official (paper) copy of the transcript will be sent to the physical address that
was used to establish the Parchment Account
c. Other Destinations
1. Electronic Delivery
a. Enter the Destination Information
b. Enter and Re-enter the Email address to confirm where the electronic
transcript is to be sent
2. Paper Delivery Method
a. Enter the Address to where the official (paper) transcript is to be sent
b. DO NOT SELECT OVERNIGHT DELIVERY
i. Method is not available via Parchment Exchange
18.) Click “Save & Continue” after the preferred destination and delivery method are selected
19.) Parchment Payment And Refund Policy
a. Read the Policy and acknowledge that you have read and understand by clicking in the box
b. Click Submit
20.) Click on “Save & Continue”
21.) Order Information
a. Enter your payment information
b. Click Pay Now
After successful payment of $2.75 you will receive an order/tracking number. Notifications will be sent to
your email directly from Parchment Exchange indicating the progress of your request for an electronic
transcript. Transcripts are withheld from those students and former students who have unpaid accounts
with the University.
