COD Grad Begins Postdoctoral Fellow at Harvard
Former student Marsela Jorgolli (above right) recently visited
with her mentor, Physics Professor Tom Carter. Jorgolli’s
passion for physics has led to a decade of academic research
that continues at Harvard University as a postdoctoral fellow.
Having successfully defended her Ph.D. in Physics at Harvard
this past May, she is working as a member of the university’s
Park Research Group, led by renowned Professor Hongkun
Park. “When I came to the U.S., I wanted to attend a great
university. I didn’t come here for a two-year community
college, but College of DuPage ended up as the best route for
me. COD gave me the resources and opportunities to excel in
my academics and my career.” Read More
