Music News Welcome Back! New beginnings are exciting and I am very excited to begin the new school year with your children! Our First Grade students are having Music class at Chapman for the very first time. All will be engaged in a variety of musical activities that include vocal, melodic and rhythmic work as they begin to or continue to learn about this art form. Movement and dance, listening, creating, improvising and playing a variety of pitched and non-­‐pitched musical instruments will also be included. Chapman is a very diverse community and we celebrate this diversity in class as students participate in many multicultural activities.
