Transfer Students Articulation Agreement
Human Services Associate in Applied Science Degree
The Bachelor of Science in Human Services program will follow the current course articulation agreement when
analyzing transfer credit for general education coursework. This agreement specifically addresses the Human Services
academic curriculum requirements and will best serve students who transfer from The College of DuPage (COD) with
an AAS degree in one of four areas of specialization: (1) Addictions Counseling; (2) Applied Gerontology, (3)
Corrections, and (4) Human Services Generalist.
· The 68-semester hour limitation of transfer of credits from a two-year institution is applicable.
· Seminar and Fieldwork Experiences will transfer to AU as follows: HS 251/261 for HMS275 and HS 261/252 for
HMS375.
· Students will not receive transfer credit for the following COD courses: HS 192, 193, and 291.
