Kindergarten High Frequency Word List
Your child should be able to read and write these 22 words by the end
of kindergarten. The words in red are the words that we have covered
in class so far this year. Your child is currently expected to be able to
read the red words on this list. By the end of the school year he or she
should also be able to write these words quickly and accurately. He or
she should practice writing these words in isolation and in short
