Please join the Senior Vice President for Business Affairs, Dr. Corey Bradford and the Division of Business Affairs in welcoming Ms. Brigid DeLoach as the new Director of Campus Planning and Space Management for Prairie View A&M University. Brigid DeLoach brings over 10 years of experience in developing organizational infrastructure and systems that support and protect physical assets, inventory and resources. Prior to joining Prairie View A&M University, DeLoach served as Regional Director of Operations and Programs for Urban Strategies providing direction, leadership and oversight of large-scale, complex community revitalization projects across six states. DeLoach has developed her expertise in facilities management and space management by serving as Executive Director of two non-profit organizations, the St. Tammany Children’s Advocacy Center and the Brain Injury Association of Louisiana, where she provided overall strategic and operational oversight of resource centers and program offices on a state and regional level. With a passion for building the capacity of individuals and organizations, DeLoach successfully ran her own consulting business focused on building the capacity of small, minority owned construction firms to improve their ability to deliver high-quality services. She has also successfully served as advisor to technical assistance programs for the National Urban League, Seedco Financial Services and the Louisiana Department of Transportation. A native of New Orleans, Louisiana, DeLoach earned a Masters of Business Administration from the University of New Orleans and a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication with a Concentration in Speech Communication from Louisiana State University. She is a graduate of several leadership programs and participates as a volunteer supporting many local organizations including the American Heart Association and Council on Aging.
