About the Program
The Professional Master of Business
Administration (MBA) Program at
Methodist University provides a rigorous
graduate program in business subjects for
those who seek personal and professional
satisfaction, wish to increase salary
potential, and advance or change their
careers. The Professional MBA Program
at Methodist University is flexible for busy
adults and competitively priced.
The Professional MBA Program at
Methodist University with a focus on
organizational management and leadership
consists of 12 courses (36 credit hours) taken
over 16 months. Classes are held in Margaret
and Walter Clark Hall at the Reeves School
of Business at Methodist University in
Fayetteville, N.C. Students attend residency
weekends twice per eight-week term (on a
Friday evening, Saturday, and Sunday) and
work online between residency weekends.

The Reeves School of Business is nationally
accredited by the Accreditation Council for
Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP) to
offer a graduate degree in the Professional
Master of Business Administration (MBA).
ACBSP is a global business accreditation
organization that provides specialized
accreditation for business degree programs.
The ideal applicant to The Professional MBA
Program at Methodist University will meet the
following criteria:
u Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited
institution, preferably in a business-related
field
u If the undergraduate degree is not in business,
competencies may be demonstrated by college
credit or passing grades on assessment exams
in Business Math and Statistics, Economics,
Financial Accounting, and Understanding
Corporate Finance. Contact the program
coordinator for specific prerequisite business
course requirements.
u GPA of 3.0 or higher
u GMAT, GRE, or MAT standardized graduate
test taken no more than five years prior to
application.
