POSITION SUMMARY:
A department assistant manager level position responsible for the operational
management of multiple teams of Health Educators. Acts as liaison with business
partners driving the processes. Primary function is the ongoing development of
personnel, career management, meeting team and process objectives, coaching and
developing supervisors, setting team objectives and providing feedback.
LEVEL OF PROFICIENCY:
1.
Bachelor's degree in a health promotion or fitness related discipline
(i.e. Public Health, Exercise Science, and Wellness). Master's degree preferred.
2.
Candidate must have at least 5 years of department manager level
experience as well as 3-5 years of call center management experience.
3.
Telephonic health coaching experience preferred.
4.
Candidates with certifications in CHES, ACSM or Wellcoaches preferred.
5.
Knowledge of process management principles providing leadership, design,
development and improvement.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1.
Serves on the Operations Leadership Team to plan and manage the
implementation of the Health Education Center’s vision, mission, strategy and
values.
2.
Communicates vision, mission, strategy and values to staff.
3.
Achieves key performance indicators of their respective Health Educator
Teams and positively affects overall Health Education Center performance.
4.
Supports an organization of 50-60 people.
5.
Coaches supervisors.
6.
Responsible for plan implementation.
7.
Supports the analysis and implementation of improved workflow for
increased efficiency/effectiveness.
