The University of Montana’s Maureen and Mike Mansfield Center,
Defense Critical Language and Culture Program (DCLCP), provides
intensive language and culture training for members of the National Guard,
Reserve, and Active Duty (all services) utilizing a congressionally funded
Language Training Center (LTC) contract through the Department of
Defense Language and National Security Education Office.

I. Domestic Program
Location: University of Montana in Missoula, MT
Date: June 1- June 12, 2015 (two weeks)
II. Study Abroad Program
Location: Shandong University in Jinan, China
Date: June 15- August 7, 2015 (eight weeks)
2-week Preparation Course at the University of Montana
Room, board & travel cost fully funded
Intensive language course focusing on improving communication skills
2 Academic Credits
Period: June 1-12, 2015
Location: Palmer Street Learning Complex of DCLCP, Missoula, MT
Curriculum
Listening/Speaking, Reading/Writing &Drill Sessions
Class hours: 9:00a.m. – 12p.m. & 1:00-4:00 p.m. (6 hours/day)
Self-study Session: 2 hours/day
Chinese Isolation-Immersion at National Bison Range June 6, 2015.
Total isolation from the English language
Simulating real life situations& experiencing Chinese culture.
