Anecdotal Comments
If you feel that evening student needs are not being met, why not and how can it be
improved?
 I have never sought out these services at night other than lighting and security. I
have never seen a security officer at night.
 Most students need rest and make schedule accurately correct try to make them
feel comfortable.
 The library is currently "out of commission".
 Needs more lighting in the parking lot areas
 I have not seen any security at all when I have class on Tuesday evening. It
would be nice to know one was around.

 Student taking evening classes have a disadvantage because certain parts of
the college close
 More one on one relationship with each students finding out what they want.
 I feel that the students’ needs are being met. There just not enough security for
the students taking a class in the evening time.

What could you not find in the library?
 Library has been closed for renovations most of my time at PDCC.
 Some books were not up to date they were basically old and things we learn
today are kind of new maybe there some things that are old some things just
needed to be up to date.
 I've never used the library.

What suggestions do you have to improve services?
 The bookstore on Suffolk campus seems to be closed no matter what time I am
there this year, even when it says it's supposed to be open.
 I have had financial aid trouble so right now it’s much harder on me but I'm trying
to make changes and they need to be more aware and people know at a head of
time instead of the last minute when things are too late.
 Vending machines taking credit cards.
 Admissions office should be open late one night a week.
 The classrooms are too cold in the winter months, & I have personally never
seen any campus security personnel.
 Better phone answering
 A better user-friendly website
 Fix vending machines, they take a lot of money. And the snack one in the middle
gets stuck a lot. Also, there is one that hasn't had new stuff put into it for a long
time.
 Live messaging chats without videos so if we need help that we can chat with
someone at any time.

 One problem I have is when I call (don’t matter what I'm calling about or who I'm
call) no one ever picks up

 Everything seems okay. Im not happy with the time of my class because I'm
rushed.
 Better techniques to get students to come to class more.
 Putting ash trays at the front doors so people dont throw them in the yard as they
walk into school
What would make the new student orientation day more beneficial?
 Let all the faculty be here so that they can see some of their faces and names
just in case they have them
 Having the whole faulty advisor team showing they care.
 I was unable to attend due to the time it was offered, as a mom and wife I need
things that will be more flexible, maybe offer this at a later time also. Some of us
are unable to attend at the ONLY time this was offered.
 Have at least half a day for orientation so students can talk to teachers
 Show how to submit assignments if you have an online class
 Meet your advisor
 Give away prizes
 Let the student walk around and meet there teachers and see what class they
should be going to on the first week of school so that way there are not student
walking around lost and also maybe someone in the hall ways to help students
find there class at orientation and the first week of school in case student did
happen to make it to orientation
 To have more people out to explain the different things that can take place when
entering college. They can also have the different teachers from different classes
explain the meanings of their classes so students can have a better
understanding of what classes they take.

I see it as being a lot helpful.
Because it tell you about this one college we are attended and the rules

It's rather dry, even though Mr. Harris is very funny, and a very helpful teacher.
Nothing if you read and do the work that is required you will make it

Something that would catch students attention
I think that if they come up with different pictures and text in the books it wouldn't
make the book seem boring.
The SDV course is a good course with variable information but I would make it
more of a learning course to help students not put them in work on top of work
Maybe a little more information in full detail so that everyone may have an
opportunity to understand it better.
Everything in the SDV course was good and very helpful
Nothing teachers like Mr. Parker did a great job
