STUDENT COURT VERDICT

WHEREAS, according to Section II Subsection B of the Judicial By-Laws, “The Judicial Branch shall review
and/or hold court on all Student Government Association legislation for constitutionality, fairness, proper
procedure, and clarity... Proper procedure insures that all bills and resolutions passed are in accordance with these
by laws.”
WHEREAS, this court has reviewed all evidence, and heard testimony that was viable to the case at hand, and the
Elections Committee has entered a plea of not guilty.
WHEREAS, the Elections Committee has been found GUILTY on the charge(s) of
I.
Mishandling of official Student Government documents.
II.
Misinterpretation of the Elections Code for the Student Government Association.
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY ORDERED AND ADJUDGED as follows:
I.
SUSPENSION
- Attending any Student Government Association sanctioned events.
- Attending any meetings that heard held under Senate By-laws of the Student Government
Association.
- Holding any meeting under the constitution and Senate By-laws of the Student
Government Association.
- Writing any legislation under Senate By-laws of the Student Government Association.
II.
SUSPENSION HEARING
- After October 30, 2015 you will be summoned for a hearing to reinstate your senatorial duties.
III.
VIOLATION
- Any violation of probation or censorship is in direct violation of the Student Government
Constitution, and Judicial By-Laws. Violations can and will result in further Judicial actions.
LET JUDGEMENT BE ENACTED Accordingly.
