Pathway: MUS Transfer Core Curriculum
Academic development and oversight of degree program provided by Missoula College UM
All courses taken and degrees earned through attendance at Bitterroot College UM are transcripted by Missoula College UM
Students may also accumulate credits to transfer to another
college or university. The Bitterroot College offers all the
courses required to satisfy the Montana University System
(MUS) Transfer Core Curriculum (30 semester credits). All
MUS institutions will accept the MUS Transfer Core to satisfy
their lower division general education requirements. For more

MUS Transfer Core Curriculum for an AA
Student Name
The Associate of Arts (AA) degree is a general transfer degree.
Completion of an AA indicates that the student has completed
a course of study equivalent to the first two years of a
Bachelor’s degree. Associate of Arts degrees do not officially
include a major or minor course of study, however students’
course selection, in consultation with an advisor, is guided by
their planned baccalaureate major. For more information on
