ABSENCES
Please note the following procedural responsibility in reference to class
assignments:
In case of illness, the instructor is required to call the Instructional Office
(763-7700) between 7:45 a.m. and 8:00 a.m. if an 8:10 a.m. class is to be
missed. If a substitute is required, instructors are to write out the assignment
information for the substitute and have it delivered to the Vice President of
Instruction. It is, of course, desirable to allow as much time as practicable for
securing a substitute.
Under ordinary circumstances it is assumed that the instructor will return to
his/her teaching duties on the succeeding day, unless notification is given to the
contrary.
