CRITERIA







Engineering majors that are ABET accredited (Electrical, Mechanical, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering
Technology, Mechanical Engineering Technology); Chemistry, Computer Science or Physics majors
Students must be registered with Career Development Services
Good Academic Standards (3.0 or better GPA) – transcript must be provided
U.S. Citizens
Currently enrolled at Alabama A&M University
Undergraduate student, at least a sophomore and not a current semester graduating senior
A native resident of the state of Alabama
APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS
 Complete the attached application information sheet
 List all sources of financial assistance received to attend the University
 Submit a typed, two-page, double spaced essay on “How will my degree improve the quality of life in my community?”
 Official copy of transcript
 Submission deadline for all materials – March 22, 2013
 Submit all materials to Mr. Michael Radden, Interim Director, Career Development Services, Alabama A&M University, 101 Patton Hall
