Approval of Minutes
Minutes of the September 10, 2012 Curriculum and General Education Committee
Meeting
- It was moved by V. Herder and seconded by T. Thompson to approve the minutes
from the September 10, 2012 Curriculum and General Education Meeting. The
motion unanimously carried.
II.
Course Update(s)

Early Care, Education, and Family Studies Curriculum
Child Study and Assessment
Health, Safety, and Nutrition
- It was moved by K. Bandy and seconded by D. Berry to approve the above course
updates (items a-c) as presented (reviewed and approved previously by
department faculty). The motion unanimously carried and will be placed as an
agenda item on the November 8, 2012 District Board of Trustees’ meeting for
approval.

Gender Studies
- It was moved by D. Bogle and seconded by K. Bandy to approve the above course
update as presented (reviewed and approved previously by department

faculty).The motion unanimously carried and will be placed as an agenda item on
the November 8, 2012 District Board of Trustees’ meeting for approval.

- It was moved by D. Berry and seconded by K. Bandy to approve the above new
course as presented (reviewed and approved previously by department faculty).
The motion unanimously carried and will be placed as an agenda item on the
November 8, 2012 District Board of Trustees’ meeting for approval.

adjourned at 12:18 p.m.

2012, the next meeting of the Curriculum and General Education Committee will be
held Monday, December 10, 2012 at 12:10 p. m. in Science 11.
