•
There was a brief conversation about the idea of adding other agencies in USDA
and DOI to the SF authority; Chris recommended this be included this in the
Program of Work document as something for the group to take on in the future.

SF Strategy Document – Chris will incorporate the edits and suggestions into one
document.
o A few minor edits were suggested on the call; several folks are fine with it
as is, and one more review will be completed by the end of the day.

SFLT meeting on April 26th (1:00PM-3:00PM EDT)
o The nature of the meeting was discussed and how to best use the time for
conversation about the SFLT’s desire for the SFFAB.
o It was decided to develop specific questions focused on the “big picture”
(rather than specific to-do’s) to put before the SFLT so the conversation is
structured; those questions will be added to the agenda when it’s under
review. Two questions were raised during the conversation:

How is SF viewed by the SFLT?

Is radio interoperability still a priority between the FS and BLM?

To-do – Chris will draft an agenda for the SFLT meeting and send
to the group; please contribute any specific questions for the SFLT
to address.

Rewards for Service First were discussed. Cindy described the pooled funds for
SF projects that the four agencies have in Oregon and Washington. She briefly
shared how that program works and will forward documents to the group that
describe more details. This should be added to the Program of Work document as
another possible project to tackle in the future.

The frequency of SFFAB calls was discussed and will be reevaluated after the
SFLT meeting in April and adjusted accordingly.
