CONFERENCE OBJECTIVES • Identify issues affecting management of wildlife and recreation areas. • Develop contacts and establish informal networks among public and private resource managers, educational institutions, and policy makers. • Increase awareness and appreciation of the complex issues facing the border states in the protection of the environment and utilization of recreational resources. • Provide input to the respective state governors concerning major issues identified by the conference.
