1. Meeting was called to order by Chair Nicholas Downey at 4:33 pm

3. Reminders
a. Grant writing workshop (22 Feb)
b. Poster making session (8 March)
4. Approval of minutes from 2-3-11 (previously distributed)

5. Poster printing
a. Printer in Education Technologies no longer available. List of vendors, prices,
contact information is available on Undergraduate Research website.
b. Discussion of including fees for poster printing in Undergraduate Research grants.
i. Motion to allow students to include $30 for poster printing as part of
supply budget.

ii. Motion to only fund poster printing starting with spring 2011 grant
submissions.

7. Emily Jacobson distributed Undergraduate Research brochure
8. On-line grant submissions
a. UWL security officer determined that emailing pdfs with personal information
presented unacceptable security risk. Secure webserver on campus will be used instead.
b. Nick Downey will present proposal to SEC on 2 March.
c. Qualtrics built-in budget check is in progress.
