Founded by Mr. Arthur K. White in
Milwaukee, WI Rite-Hite Holding
Corp. soon became recognized
as the world’s leading supplier of
loading dock and industrial safety

1965
Caljan A/S was founded
by two engineers:
1963Calundan and
Kaj
Svend Jansen. From
their headquarters on
the outskirts of Aarhus,
Denmark they produced
some of the world’s best
material handling systems
for loading and unloading
cargo.
1992
Looking to grow in
Europe, Rite-Hite acquired
Caljan.
2001
Rite-Hite Europe was
established in Twello,
Netherlands
2003
CAEMA Verladesysteme
GmbH, one of
Germany’s leading
manufacturers of
dock equipment was
acquired by Rite-Hite
and fusioned with the
European organization.
SAFEtrack telescopic
conveyor system was
launched in Europe.
Anticipating health and
safety legislation, this popular
machine for loading/
unloading is still the safest on

2004
Michael H. White, son of
founder Arthur K. White, is the
current chairman of the RiteHite organization. Over 1800
employees are placed in more
than 100 locations throughout
the world. Rite-Hite places strong
emphasis on research and

Caljan Rite-Hite acquires
LogComp. This acquisition
means that Caljan RiteHite’s comprehensive
