CNR is looking for two individuals with a strong interest and/or career aspirations related to plant identification. These positions will assist with the coordination and teaching of NRES 405 – Plant Identification for each 6-week session of CNR’s 2016 Summer Field Experience Programs.
This is a great way to build your resume for graduate school (the teaching experience will set you apart from other graduate program applicants) or your future career (employers recognize the leadership qualities developed and demonstrated through these positions).
One position will be at Treehaven and will be the plant TA for both 6-week sessions. The person in this position will not be able to attend a 6-week session and perform job duties simultaneously. Pay rate is $370 a week and room and board at Treehaven is included.
The second position will be the Plant TA for the 6-week program on Campus.
This person can attend session I at Treehaven and occupy this position for the second half of summer. Pay rate is $370 a week.
Qualifications:
Must have completed the CNR Summer Field Experience (6week program) program by the time the positions start.
Have a demonstrated background and ability in plant identification.
Interest/ability to communicate with others and work as a member of a team.
