In 2010 Fleming hit .326 in 48 games and added 25 runs batted in and nine stolen bases for the Bucs. Fleming's brother Kurt was also drafted out of St. Christopher's High School (VA) by the Braves as an eighth-round pick. The Braves will soon be a family affair, as Fleming's father is also employed by the Braves organization. "Kenny is a very gifted athlete," said Shelton State Head Coach Bobby Sprowl. "His play was one of the reasons that we were able to compete again for the ACCC Championship. If he continues to progress like he has, he will have a real chance to play for a long time at the next level." Looking for their fourth consecutive ACCC title, Shelton State (34-23, 22-5) advanced to the championship game of the 2010 Tournament but eventually fell 7-6 to Faulkner State. ###
