The Organelle Trail Task: As an introductory activity, your task is to determine the structure and functions of various organelles located in a cell. Hit the “Organelle Trail” by going to different websites provided on Mrs. Pecco’s webpage. Part I: Procedure (Day 1) 1. Go to the Files and Links section on the webpage and click the cell files. 2. Search any of the cell links to find the information needed to fill in the cell drawing and cell table. Try to examine at least 3 different links. 3. Search the links and fill in drawings of the organelles (structures) on your “Cell Drawing Sheets” (handouts). 4. Create a table with 4 columns and 8 rows in your composition books. The table should look similar to the one below but you should use the whole page in your composition books when creating the table.
