GUIDELINES
The first sentence introduces
the source of the information
(title of the article), the theme
(or topic). A character who
illustrates the theme may also
be included.
The primary detail identifies
a fact from the beginning of the
article. Include accompanying
details which give definition to
the fact.
The secondary detail
identifies a fact from the
middle of the article. Include
accompanying details which
give definition to the fact.
The tertiary detail identifies
a fact from the end of the
article. Include accompanying
details which give definition to
the fact.
The concluding sentence
declares whether the theme has
changed or if it has been
proven valuable.
