Well, That's All-"Write"
We Did It!
The 4th grade set a goal to earn 100 horseshoes
for a trip to the movies...GOAL MET!
We have decided to make a day of it. On
Thursday, March 10, we will be going to
Morehead Cinema to watch Zootopia (8:40);
having lunch at La Finca Mexican Restaurant
(11:00); and visiting the Morehead Veteran's
Museum (12:30).
As voted on, 4th Grade classroom funds will be
used for movie tickets; so the cost to each family
is only $6. Please send in the $6 by Wednesday
(03/09).
Next Week
We were able to meet Natalie
Lloyd, author of "A Snicker of
Magic". She talked with us about
her writing process & inspirations,
her career, and other careers
associated with the publishing of
books. She answered lots student
questions and we left the Reader
Response letters that we wrote so
she can read them all later.
We will have our own chance to
be the "Visiting Author" on Family
Reading NIght...a pretty exciting
way to showcase our hard work.
