Our Reading focus skill this week was compare and
contrast. We learned to use several different
graphic organizers to help us compare and contrast
such as a Venn, Y-chart and 3-T. We also
continued to practiced Making Inferences We
continue reading the delicious Charlie and the
Chocolate Factory. In grammar we are working
with adjectives….how to use them to describe
nouns.

our African
American History
unit of study with
read alouds from
the slavery time
period as well as
our Econoomy unit
with operating our
class business!
Our next unit in Science
is Physical Science
Is Force and Motion.

work easier
 Inclined plans can make
work easier
 Wedges and screws are
types of inclined planes

GOALS for our multiplication
masters REWARD. Please check
your child’s student planner for
their GOALWe are working with area and
perimeter in Investigations Unit
4 and we are working with
Division in EnVisions Topic 8.
