Our Reading focus skill this week was compare and
contrast. We learned to use several different
graphic organizers to help us compare and contrast
such as a Venn, Y-chart and 3-T. We also
continued to practiced Making Inferences We are
beginning the delicious Charlie and the Chocolate
Factory. In grammar we are working with
adjectives….how to use them to describe nouns.

We are beginning
our African
American History
unit of study with
read alouds from
the slavery time
period.
Our next unit in Science
is Physical Science

your child’s student planner for
their GOALWe are working with area and
perimeter in Investigations Unit
4 and we are working with
Division in EnVisions Topic 8.
