warranted for each applicant. Letters of invitation are emailed to applicants beginning May 15th.
•
Applicants who are identified as highly competitive with our student body will be invited for a
personal interview (all interviews are conducted in person). Invited applicants must send copies of
their course syllabi for review by our basic science faculty or bring these materials to the
interview. Interviews are conducted end of May through June.
•
Following an on-campus interview and scoring of their application file by a faculty interviewer,
an admissions committee member will independently review each file and an additional score will
be assigned.
•
The completed file of all interviewed applicants will be brought to the Advanced Standing
Admissions Committee which will include a preponderance of basic science and clinical faculty.
The committee will evaluate each potential transfer student and make a recommendation regarding
acceptance. The acceptable transfer applicants are ranked with the most desirable applicants at the
top of the list. Decisions are emailed and mailed to the applicants beginning in June and continuing
until all positions are filled.
All materials listed must be submitted by May 15th in order to be considered complete. Interviews
will be conducted in May and June and decisions will be made in June.
