Indicate what clearances/approvals may be needed. Indicate whether the student will be able to transfer data to portable media or to the student’s own hard-drive and/or access project data from off-site, or will all work need to be performed on-site. • For students who also work for the organization employing the collaborating researcher, a statement as to how the Data Analysis Project will be independent of work the student is doing for the organization as an employee. • Statement indicating that the collaborating researcher’s awareness that the student’s work will be presented in a Departmental seminar near the end of the spring term. • For work that is intended to be submitted for publication in an academic journal, issues related to authorship. • Signature and signature date for student, advisor, and collaborating researcher.
