Who is it for?
Anyone with an interest in production livestock
and the health and well being of those animals.
Many concepts can be adapted to different
species…..not just dairy!! Any student between
the ages of 9 and 18 with a desire to learn are
welcome.
Background in agriculture is not necessary,
just the interest to learn.
Cost?
$15/ person (youth and adults) includes lunch
and a t-shirt .

You turn right into the dairy off of Georgetown
Road just before it goes over I-64/I-75.

Department of Animal and Food Sciences are

The current generation is 3-5
generations removed from agriculture.
At the same time farmers are having to
become more than farmers and it is
important that we as future agricultural
leaders, and even consumers are aware
of the processes and heightening
expectations that will have to be fulfilled.
The UK College of Agriculture students
with an interest in dairy have compiled
their top animal science experiences
from their college career that they feel
have give them that ...AHA moment!!!
We hope to share these experiences
with you and give you a jump start into
your education…..with real life
applicable examples!! Now how cool is
that?
