This program guide includes GLBTQ related programming sponsored or supported by the GLBTQ Resource Center,
the KU student group Allies, the Association of Campus Events (ACE), Multicultural Center, Women’s Center,
Communications Studies, Housing, Residence Life and Dining Services, Off Campus Advisory Council
and members of the Kutztown University community.

Equality Social
Come and celebrate equality in all forms with the KU student group Allies of
Kutztown University and other student groups. The event is full of fun activities
and games that help increase awareness about discrimination and diversity. The
event also provides students from all types of communities a safe space free of
gender stereotypes and heteronormative behavior constructs. Food and snacks
are provided.
Alicia Garza of Black Lives Matter
A founder of Black Lives Matter, Alicia Garza leads a discussion on race in
America, activism, violence, police brutality, social injustice and justice for all.

Allies Drag Show
Allies of Kutztown University will be holding its 10th annual Drag Show which
features both professional and student performers for a night of enjoyment. All
donations collected from the event benefit charitable LGBTQ focused
organizations such as TransCentralPA, Trevor Project, and The Pennsylvania
Youth Congress.
Ticket information will be announced.

Come share your thoughts and opinions in a safe, non-judgmental environment. Discussion
topics include intersectionality, non-discrimination laws, LGBTQ representation in the
media, transgender issues, and so much more. All are welcome.
Now Showing
Join the GLBTQ Resource Center and the Feminist Majority Leadership Alliance to screen
and discuss thought provoking films centered around the LGBTQ+ community and
feminism. Each month will feature two films from Disney favorite Mulan to cult classic
Hedwig and the Angry Inch.
