Officer Tyree arrested a student for driving while intoxicated, after a Texas
Tech University employee reported a possible intoxicated driver in the Flint
Avenue Parking Facility. The vehicle was later located and a traffic stop was
conducted in the 1800 block of Flint Avenue. Officer Burgess arrested the
passenger for public intoxication. The two students were transported to the
Lubbock County Jail. The vehicle was inventoried and impounded by
Lubbock Wrecker Service. See offense report # 09-0419.
