Policy Statement
Purpose
This policy establishes the guidelines for the coordination, approval, and accountability of the student
association fee. The Student Government Association shall provide quality events and activities
that promote student development; social and recreational activities; and encourage participation
in self-government.
Scope
This policy applies to students, faculty, and staff on each campus/site, as well as any future
locations.
Policy
The policy of BRCC is to ensure that SGA establishes a budget for the academic year. Fees
collected are expended by authorization of a legally-constituted SGA officer with the approval of
the college’s chief personnel officers/campus administrator or his/her official designee.
