Hi Gary, Here is my assessment information for SOC 1301 & 2335: Changes implemented since AY2010-11. Changes made in the base syllabus for your core courses in response to assessment results: None. The assessment results did not indicate a need for change. Adjustments in the way the courses are assessed, the examinations, or the base content in the areas listed above in response to assessment results: The course assessments have not changed. Base content has changed due to identification of theoretical and methodological concepts on which the majority of students consistently scored low on the exam items or group presentation scores. The nature of the questions posed by students during class lectures and questions were also used to change the base content. Changes in the way content is delivered: Changes include changing reading material, elaboration on lecture slides, and illustrative examples such as short videos, graphs, or relevant website visitation (e.g. government agency sites). Have you made any changes in how students are provided with help to improve their comprehension of the material such as on-line tutoring, face-to-face or group help sessions, etc. No changes. Take care, Martha
