-Instructors now upload student speeches to an online program that allows students to review and
evaluate their own speeches. This also allows for online peer evaluation. (Fall 2011)
-We adjusted our master syllabus to reflect a new schedule of speech assignments. We transitioned the
special occasion speech (previously Speech 3) to our final speech assessment of the semester (now
Speech 4). This has allowed us to more effectively assess student learning outcomes. (Fall 2011)
-We have recently added an online speech presentation. (Spring 2013)
-All Teaching Assistants and Instructors receive their own digital camera to record student speeches.
(Spring 2012)
-New Teaching Assistants completed more in-depth training than prior semesters. They delivered
practice lectures, graded practice speeches, and became familiar with our new technology. (Fall 2012)
