He first joined the firm as a summer student in 2013. David received his J.D. from Osgoode Hall Law School, where he was awarded the Dominic Carinci Memorial Prize for finishing at the top of his class in Business Associations and Real Estate. Prior to studying law, David attended the Richard Ivey School of Business, where he graduated with distinction studying subjects including finance, entrepreneurship and interpersonal negotiations. Following his graduation from the Richard Ivey School of Business, David worked as a business consultant for a software application company where he developed a strategic plan for the launch of a new human resources software. During his time at law school David was involved in numerous extra-curricular activities. He worked as an intake volunteer for the Community Legal Aid & Services Program and also as a caseworker for the Osgoode Business Clinic where he provided legal services to small start-up and not-for-profit businesses. David has travelled extensively throughout Western Europe, Asia and Africa.
