GOLF - RANGE INSTRUCTION
Catalog Description:
PHED 2GR – Golf - Range Instruction
1 unit
This course is designed to teach the basic fundamental skills which are essential in playing golf.
Instruction will take place in the classroom and on the golf range. The class will meet 3 hours per week.
Prerequisite Skills:
None
Expected Outcomes for the Students:
This course should provide the basic knowledge and skill for the beginning student to build a sound
foundation upon which the student may continue to increase his skill and appreciation for the sport of golf
long after the completion of the course.

Methods of Presentation:
The course is presented by the lecture-demonstration method. Instruction will be given to the whole class
and on an individual basis, according to the need of the student. All students will follow the same class
procedure under the direction of the instructor. Videotape will be used when appropriate to individualize
instruction.
