Jonathan Sherman is an associate in our Securities Group. Prior to joining Cassels Brock as an associate,
Jonathan was both a summer and articling student at the firm. During this time, he gained valuable experience
assisting with a variety of corporate transactions involving issuers and investment dealers, including public
offerings, private placements as well as both public and private company mergers and acquisitions.
Jonathan is a graduate of the J.D. program at Osgoode Hall Law School. At Osgoode, Jonathan participated in
the Advanced Business Law Workshops in Corporate Finance and Mergers & Acquisitions. He participated in
a number of moots and was a member of the second place Bowman National Tax Moot Team. Jonathan was
the co-president of the Entertainment & Sports Law Association and was actively involved with the Osgoode
Business Clinic, providing legal services to start-up and not-for-profit businesses.
Prior to attending law school, he earned a Bachelor of Commerce with a major in Accounting from McGill
University.
