Position Responsibilities:
This position will contribute to engineering and technical software projects that fall under the
responsibilities of the Color Technology team.
Responsibilities include:
* Development of new color tools for marketing and manufacturing to support the Global Color
System
* Development of new methods, programs, and processes for improved quality and efficiency
* Modification of existing processes in response to global business needs
* Development of communication protocols, evaluation, and audits of spectrophotometers and
related instrumentation
* Design of algorithms, logic, and user interface for internal color software
* Support of data structures utilized for color matching and other functions
* Project support through effective data analysis and interpretation
* Facilitating resolution of technical, manufacturing, and quality problems
* Interactions with plants and labs to implement new programs and processes
* Providing lead support to US and global manufacturing sites for color software,
spectrophotometers, and related equipment
Strong communication skills, good organizational abilities, and a high level of
initiative are necessary for success in the position.
Experience Required:
Candidate must have:
* Minimum three years experience working with technical software
* Programming (any language) and software testing experience
* Proficiency in project management and problem solving
* Proficiency in data interpretation and analysis
Education Required:
BS in Engineering or Physics
Travel Required: 10%
