Position Available Qualified candidates should email their resume and salary requirements to hr@nslanalytical.com ICP – Level I or Level II Chemist: We are looking for a Chemist with experience operating instrumentation in the ICP/MS or ICPOES area. Specific qualifications are outlined below. Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Education, Experience): ICP/MS – Level I or II A minimum of 6 months – 1 year experience utilizing Perkin Elmer 6000, 9000, DRC instrumentation or equivalent o Basic instrument operation (daily optimization, initiating analysis, basic calculations) o Basic instrument maintenance (cleaning / maintaining sample introduction system) o Standard identification of interferences o Construction of calibration curves ‐ Sample preparation experience ICPOES – Level II A minimum of 1‐3 years experience with a Perkin Elmer Optima 5300 or 7300 or equivalent instrumentation o Must exhibit theory of ICPOES instrumentation o Be able to interpret data / analysis o Method development / validation procedures o Curve setup / peaking of analytes o Interference (inter‐element, spectral) correction o Trouble shooting instrument issues / sample issues o Maintenance procedures ‐ Experience with analysis of various metals, alloys, and/or ceramics ‐ Sample preparation experience
