Duties/Responsibilities:
Promerus LLC (http://www.promerus.com/index.asp) is searching for a dynamic individual with experience in small molecule and
polymer characterization. The Analytical Scientist will be part of an analytical group of 5 scientists that supports polymer R&D and also
has QC responsibility. Responsibilities will include conducting routine analyses, interpreting and reporting results, maintaining
instrumentation, documenting procedures, validating test methods, developing new analytical methods, and advising others on test
method capabilities.
Technical Proficiencies Required:

Degree in Chemistry or Polymer Science:
o Bachelor’s degree and at least 4 years of experience
o Master’s degree and at least 2 years of experience
Experience with small molecule and polymer characterization (particularly LC and LCMS; also GC, GCMS, Ion Chromatography, FT-IR
Spectroscopy, GPC)
Knowledge of statistical methods (such as Gage Reproducibility and Repeatability, Control Charting, Student’s t-Test)
Proficient at operating and maintaining analytical instruments
Strong knowledge of chemical properties, hazards and safe handling practices
