Our Chemist position supports Research and Development programs to develop products and process technologies
or enhance current products to support the achievement of the company's business strategies and objectives. The

Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Performs research and development activities in support of product development
Participates n the assessment of new product ideas by collaborating projects with the Marketing department.
Supports the evaluation of competitive products
Provides technical support to sales, manufacturing, purchasing, quality, and customer service.
Stays abreast to new developments in related industries and changes in regulations
Serves as a liaison with external vendors and consultants on procurement of research and development services and
materials
Assures compliance with all related safety and environmental regulations.

Required Knowledge and Experience
Experience in chemical product research and development
Good understanding of organic, inorganic, polymer, and analytical chemistry
Some experience in chemical formulation and a good knowledge of chemical interaction
Computer proficiency and other related technical applications
Good communication, writing , and presentation skills
Preferred Qualifications
Wet chemistry and Analytical chemistry skills
3- 5 years industrial experience
Knowledge of plumbing systems.
